There’s something quietly powerful about being asked back.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked alongside the same clients — supporting annual events, managing publication logistics, coordinating awards programmes, and delivering weekly communications.
Some of that work happens in ballrooms.
Some of it happens in spreadsheets.
All of it relies on trust.
This year marked the second successful Law Ball I’ve delivered for Eastbourne Law Society — and we’re now preparing for the AGM and Annual Dinner for the third year running.
Events at this level aren’t just about booking a room and sending invitations. They’re about:
• Managing guest lists and payments
• Coordinating menus and dietary requirements
• Handling supplier communication
• Protecting confidential data
• Keeping committees aligned and on schedule
By the time guests arrive, it feels effortless. That’s the point.
Consistency builds confidence. And confidence builds better events.
Last November, I completed the annual Hailsham Hero Awards — a project that celebrates the people who quietly make our town better.
We’re now in the early planning stages for this year’s awards.
The difference between running an event once and running it annually is experience. Systems get tighter. Communication improves. Deadlines become sharper. The ambition grows.
Each year isn’t just a repeat — it’s an evolution.
If events are visible milestones, logistics is invisible discipline.
For Hailsham News, I manage distributor logistics — coordinating door-to-door delivery routes, communication with distributors, troubleshooting issues, maintaining records, and keeping the operational side steady month after month.
There are no stage lights in logistics.
There are spreadsheets.
There are phone calls.
There are last-minute route changes.
There is data protection.
There is consistency.
A publication only works if it lands on doormats reliably. When something runs smoothly, no one notices. When it doesn’t, everyone does.
My role is to make sure it does.
Quiet systems. Clear communication. Reliable distribution.
That’s not glamorous. It’s foundational.
Cherry Dance and Cabaret Cerises have been my longest-standing clients.

Creative businesses move fast. Energy is high. Ideas are abundant.
My job is to hold the structure steady behind that creativity.
I manage the mailing systems, segment audiences, refine messaging, build landing pages, and ensure the right people see the right information at the right time.
Creativity thrives when the admin is handled properly.
Longevity in this relationship says everything. Trust builds when you show up every single week — not just for the big launches, but for the ordinary Tuesdays.
